Native plants have evolved to thrive in our specific climate, soils, and weather. Each year, we usually offer around 400 native varieties—continually expanding the number of straight-species plants we sow and raise right here on site. Focused primarily on species native to Western North Carolina and our surrounding region, our native collection supports local pollinators, birds, and wildlife. While we grow nearly all of our natives ourselves, a select few of our native trees and shrubs are sourced from trusted local nursery partners.
