A Quick Show of Hands...
Updated: 4 hours ago
We've closed for the season but are already looking toward next spring, and we just wanted to poll the porch real quick.
Here at Painters, the moment we shut our gate, we start next season's work (sometimes even sooner than that!) We clean and mend and tuck the plants into their winter homes. We order seeds and plugs, chart out planting schedules, and review what worked and what needs tweaking. If you are the type for dreaming forward or looking back, share your feedback in this briefest and broadest of surveys! We value your input!
First up, next season's added tomato choices:
Chef's Choice Bicolor
An F1 hybrid indeterminate beefsteak with high disease resistance and heavy yields. Fruits are 7-12 oz, yellow exterior with pink striping throughout flesh, sweet-savory flavor.
Pink Berkley Tie Dye
An heirloom indeterminate beefsteak variety bred in CA. Fruits are 8-16 oz, dark pink/purple skin with green striping, sweet-savory flavor with balanced acidity.
