Hip! Hip! Rudbeckia!
Beautiful, Beneficial Blooms for Summer and Fall
Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip! Rudbeckia!Â
We all cheer for this reliable plant. Butterflies, bees, birds, and all of us at Painters!Â
Rudbeckia is such a happy, cheery plant. Its famous daisy-shaped blooms are so long lasting and it is a pure delight as a cut flower. It makes a stunning large planting by itself or in the background of perennial beds. The flowers attract pollinators and the seedheads attract birds. Plus, in the fall we leave the seedheads in our gardens as wildlife food, artful winter interest, AND for self-seeding next year’s crop!Â
The genus Rudbeckia is comprised of 20 or so species of annuals, biennials, and perennials. We have five species and several varieties in a range of colors, heights, and habits here at Painters. Find your favorite bit of cheer!
