Introducing Our New Digital Marketing Manager

We are thrilled to introduce you to the person behind our revamped newsletter and increased social media presence.

Have you noticed anything different about Painters lately? Have you been enjoying our revamped newsletter? Found yourself liking and commenting on our more frequent social media posts?

We are thrilled to introduce you to Caroline - the person responsible for these changes. Caroline joined Painters this spring - you may recognize her from checkout or the retail floor - and has recently stepped into the role of Digital Marketing Manager.

Caroline got her start working on a presidential campaign at the age of 18. While in DC for college she interned for the Obama Administration, joined her school's Food Justice Alliance where she planted her first garden, and found a passion for food policy. Caroline’s experience fostering engagement and creating dialogue around issues of global food security, as well as her skills in political communication, community organizing, and a love of plants make her a perfect fit for this role.

A Chicago native, Caroline made the move to Western North Carolina with the dream of finding a job where she could put her hands in the soil and was thrilled to find an opportunity at Painters. She has volunteered on farms in WNC and most Fridays you’ll find her handing out food boxes at Bounty & Soul’s drive through market. When she’s not working, Caroline is probably playing fetch with her pup, watching her plants grow, hiking, or traveling.

Caroline is taking advantage of our off season to update our website, highlight our deserving staff, integrate educational and interactive features in our newsletter, and share all the behind the scenes fun happening here. We're excited to welcome Caroline to the Painters family and can't wait to see what she has to offer. She will also be sharing tips, tricks, and highlights from her balcony gardening so keep an eye out!
