These plants are among the hardiest and easiest houseplants to grow! The dwarf variety, which will only grow to 12", is especially suited to be a houseplant.

If you provide these plants with bright indirect light, consistently moist but not soggy soil, and high humidity (we recommend a humidifier or pebble tray) they will reward you with glossy leaves and quick growth. After a few years they may even produce small white flowers and berries (containing seeds that we know as coffee beans) every spring!
