Community Christmas Events this Saturday
Stop by Christmas parades in Old Fort and Black Mountain after the Little Crafty
MACA'S 34th ANNUAL APPALACHIAN POTTER'S MARKET
The McDowell Arts Council Association hosts this event at the McDowell High School each winter, where a wide array of talented potters have their dinnerware, mugs, vases and sculpture on display with wonderful gift options for the holidays!

Old Fort Community Christmas Kick Off and Parade
The Old Fort Community Forum & People On the Move Old Fort is having a Community Christmas Kick-off event at the Mountain Gateway Museum. There will be Chili, Hot Chocolate & crafts. The parade starts at 5pm (Whaley Farm Brewery should have a good view!), and the Open House and Luminaire Lighting at the museum begins at 5:30pm.

BULLINGTON GARDEN'S ANNUAL HOLIDAY SALE
Join our friends at the beautiful Bullington Gardens for a two day handmade craft extravaganza! Their talented volunteers have been busy creating unique holiday decor, and funds benefit their lovely public gardens and horticultural education and therapy programs.
WHEN: December 2nd & 3rd, 9-4
While we are of course very excited for our Little Crafty, the Big Crafty is a pretty big deal! If you've never been, we highly recommend it - truly a gathering of some of the best artists in the region. (We want to congratulate our friend and 'Painters family' member Darcy on being accepted - check out her incredible work!
